are in running condition. Older buses beyond economic repair (BER)
with average 15 yrs old are declared condemned and sold-out following
govt. rules and new vehicles are included in the fleet.

Procurement Policy: BRTC imports buses from reputed manufacturers
all over the world. Bus procurement is normally financed from
Government loan. BRTC also procures buses & trucks from Pragati
industries limited under self financing scheme.
